Inspired by the legendary Belgian Bier Weekend held on the Grand Place of Brussels, this festival mirrors one of the world’s most iconic bier gatherings.
The Lowlands Hospitality Group is honored to reimagine the event to create the only festival of its kind in North America.
Lowlands Belgian Bier Fest
Experience the inaugural Belgian Bier Fest in the heart of Brew City! On Saturday, June 13, Lowlands Hospitality Group, in partnership with Belgian Beer Week USA, presents a once-in-a-lifetime cultural event inspired by one of the world’s most iconic bier gatherings at Brussels' Grand Place, bringing a historic convergence of Belgian brewing tradition to life in Wauwatosa Village. One unprecedented celebration in the spirit of bier, belonging, and 20 years of Lowlands Hospitality.
Enjoy access to rare and exclusive pours from some of Belgium’s most iconic breweries, meet multi-generational owners and brewmasters, and sip alongside worldwide bier leaders and Lowlands Brewing Collaborative partners, authentic Belgian eats throughout the festival, and more.
Choose from two tasting sessions and toast to an extraordinary lineup of more than 25 Belgian and Trappist breweries and over 100 biers on-site for what promises to be the most esteemed Belgian tasting experience on American soil to date. Each ticket includes a commemorative tasting glass and a tasting passport to guide your journey.
One day, endless opportunities. Save the date and secure your spot for this immersive international tasting experience! Our open-air Grand Tasting transforms charming Wauwatosa Village into a European-style bier destination, complete with a commemorative glass and festival passport book.
Your ticket purchase (of which a portion will be donated to RMHC of Eastern Wisconsin), includes a wristband for entry, commemorative tasting glass, festival passport book, and 3-hours of unlimited Belgian bier sampling. PLEASE NOTE: the timeframe of your ticket will be strictly enforced.
To accommodate our many international participants and attendees, this one-day-only festival is rain-or-shine. Please consider the weather forecast in advance and dress accordingly (rain slickers, hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.).
Ride share services are highly recommended, as parking will be limited in the Tosa Village, and safety is of utmost importance. The Little Red Store West Parking Lot will be available following the Tosa Farmers Market conclusion (8am-12pm). Most street parking is metered or hourly limitations.
There will be multiple check-in lines to scan your ticket/QR code and check ID's (please have your ID ready!). All members of your party must be present to check in. Please note that with two sessions in one day, each timeframe will be strictly enforced. No early entry or late exits will be allowed.
Yes! We will have traditional festival snacks available for purchase on the grounds such as Frites Cones, Bitterballen and WI Cheese Curds. Sponsor Liquid Death is providing complimentary water and other featured n/a products for all attendees as well. There will be some n/a bier samples available.
Yes! The Tosa Village has many wonderful dining options, and we'd recommend our Lowlands Hospitality Group restaurants: Café Hollander and Buckatabon Tavern & Supper Club. Both located just across the river on State Street.
